One of your staff claimed that his name is Danny hang up on me twice without answering my question properly after I called the reception to check our room's aircon. I called at about 1204am on 18 October. After hanging up, I demanded for answer and asked for his name. He explained that the phone was hung up because the battery of the phone went flat. I was looking at the chat all the time and he was online after hanging up. I hope you're able to do something about this as I feel that it is very unprofessional of him to treat guests like this.

Lovely old building loved having a balcony.
Lovely old building loved having a balcony. Good local food breakfast and it’s an easy walk to the board walk. Very quiet and felt like old Singapore very helpful staff.
Room a little dark due to the balcony doors being solid, basin on the balcony was different.

Good size rooms
It's a converted army camp, and although the room is a good size and clean, there is no lift, and the location next to the airbase makes it noisy it's also a 20 min taxi to the airport even though it's next to it and suffers from the airport noise.

Nostalgic because of hotels original use. Pleasant enough.
Iconic place as was a commando station in war. Kept basic. Meal room basic but too far to go elsewhere just for meal. Staff kind . English a slight problem. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs.. Original cement stairs.. Was difficult for us seniors. Basin to wash diffetent.. Out on open balcony!! Nostalgic place.
Cement stairs up to our room. Wine was expensive at $S 15 per glass taxi driver to local shops took us way out of our way .. Cheated.. We realised after ages of driving he was going round in circles.. He admitted it.. We gave him a serve and he accepted half the fare shown. I slammed the door as so annoyed. Really upsetting.
